About OSHO

For knowing Osho, the only way is to dive deep into meditation and reach him with love- by words it is impossible to describe him, he defies categorization.

He inspires millions of people worldwide, to discover a new way of living, by changing our ‘selves’ through meditation.

After much experimenting and scrutinizing, he developed the modern meditation methods for the modern man, that emphasize catharsis as a necessary part of meditation.

“ Everything will be gone. When the mind becomes empty of repression and habits, awareness will happen easily.” Osho.

Over 7000 extemporaneous talks by him are transcribed into books that cover everything from the individual quest for meaning to the most urgent social and political issues facing society today.

The American novelist Tom Robbins has called him, “the most dangerous man since Jesus Christ.”

Osho has been described by The Sunday Times in London as one of the “1000 Makers of the 20th Century.”

Osho says “I am not here to convince you about anything. I am not here to give you a dogma, a creed to live by. I am here to take all creeds away from you because only then will life happen to you. I am not giving you anything to live by, I am simply taking all props away from you, all crutches.”

His vision is to create a new man, “Zorba the Buddha” which is the highest synthesis of human consciousness, the meeting of the East and the West. Osho has opened a revolutionary milestone for the science of inner transformation, bringing meditation in the contemporary and stressful life. His techniques release accumulated tensions which we are unaware of, making our energy free to make living more creative and loving and help us know ourselves.

AN Italian Press, Vera, mentions “This is the message: Osho promises that through meditation everybody can become a buddha. This means, one can awaken, become conscious of oneself and of the secret of life and so, not suffering any more, find final peace. This is the Zen teaching, but with something more.”
